The latest episode of The Walking Dead was all about Ezekiel (Khary Payton).
The King was devastated when all of his group was killed, except for him and Jerry (Cooper Andrews). Ezekiel found himself in a precarious situation but he was saved by Carol (Melissa McBride) who was clearing out the inside of a Savior compound.
Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) stopped two Saviors who tried to get away with guns.

Ezekiel was dealt another devastating blow when Shiva, the tiger, sacrificed herself so that he could escape with Jerry and Carol, and return to safety.
The next episode of the season is The Big Scary U. With war raging all around him, we get a close look at Negan and the lives of the Saviors during the conflict through a familiar set of eyes.
