Open auditions for Jack and the Beanstalk panto

Q Productions invite talented young performers from Croydon and the surrounding Surrey/London areas to attend open auditions to join the Junior Ensemble for this year’s family pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk. The seasonal show, starring television favourites Jonny Awsum and Paisley Billings, will play Croydon’s Waddon Theatre at Waddon Leisure Centre from 7th – 31st December 2017.

Open Auditions will take place on Saturday 28th October at Wallington High School (Woodcote Road, Wallington, Surrey, SM6 0PH). Auditions slots are: 2.00 – 3.00pm open auditions (registration open from 1.45pm), and 3.15 – 4.15pm for pre-registered dance schools and groups (registration open from 3.00pm).

Producers are looking for talented dancers and performers who have strong experience in drama and singing. They must be aged 9 to 15 years old and should be no taller than 5ft 5”. Successful applicants should be aware that total commitment to the rehearsal period and assigned performance dates is expected.

We would love to have a diverse group of enthusiastic and committed young talent auditioning. Successful auditionees will have the fantastic opportunity to work alongside professional creatives and West End performers in this fully-produced professional pantomime, which is packed full of side-splitting comedy, stunning special effects and lavish costumes.”

The Waddon Theatre at Waddon Leisure Centre will be converted into a 400-seat theatre space throughout December, offering wonderful family entertainment that all ages can enjoy together. The theatre will have a brand new seating plan for this year’s show which ensures every seat in the house has the best view possible.
