After four weeks, The X Factor 2017 auditions come to a close tonight.
Next weekend the competition moves to the Bootcamp stage, which means we’re ever closer to the brutal six chair challenge (eek!). Last night’s show saw the judges return to Thorpe Park as they whittled down the hopefuls.
Part-time musician and full-time plasterer Matt Linnen was one of the standouts from the episode, despite not winning universal acclaim from the judges. Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger both agreed that he was hot though!

There was a rather odd audition from Montenegro’s Slavko who once represented his country in Eurovision, although he never got through to the finals. The rather unusual character had previously met and exchanged numbers with Louis Walsh (no comment there) and he delivered a baffling audition that saw him sent through to bootcamp.
Tonight the final crop of hopefuls will audition and Alesha Dixon is back on the judge’s panel. There’s sure to be plenty of surprises and more than a few WTF moments!
