28-year-old plasterer Matt Linnen is set to impress on The X Factor tonight as he auditions for the judges.

Stepping into the audition room to perform for Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh, Matt explains that music is his passion but he can’t seem to stop Sharon asking about his dating status!

By the look of it Matt grabs Nicole’s interest too and we all know she’s unable to stop a stream of consciousness once it begins…

Grabbing his guitar, Matt performs his rendition of Ray LaMontagne’s hit Trouble and to our ears, he should be sailing right through to boot camp. Plus we do kinda agree with Sharon, he is pretty nice to look at isn’t he?
