Willemijn Verkaik announces one-off West End spectacular

The musical theatre stars will be joined by some very special guests.

Music theatre star Willemijn Verkaik will perform a one-off concert at The Cambridge Theatre in London’s West End this July.

Joined by a host of special guests and an 8-piece live band, Verkaik will perform on 31st July 2017. The show is her follow up to the 2015 sold out solo concert at The Ambassadors Theatre.

Fans can expect to see Verkaik perform some of the most iconic songs that have defined her career as well as never before performed material alongside her friends and fellow leading lights of musical theatre.

Special guests due to join Verkaik include current and past Glindas (from Wicked); Celinde Schoenmaker, Suzie Mathers and Savannah Stevenson, as well as musical theatre favourite and Oliver award nominee Tyrone Huntley (Dreamgirls, Sister Act, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Book Of Mormon, Memphis).

Verkaik rose to fame as the voice of Elsa in the German and Dutch versions of Disney’s Frozen. She is currently playing Elphaba in Wicked as part of the 10 year anniversary cast on the West End.
