Outlander coming to More4 this month

The time-travel drama will kick off at the end of the month.

Hit time-travel drama series Outlander is coming to More4 later this month it’s been announced.

The Sony Pictures Television series stars Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan and Tobias Menzies and is produced by Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Gallactica, Philip K Dick’s Electric Dreams). It will premiere on More 4 on Thursday 29th June at 9pm.

Outlander follows the story of Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe), a married WW11 combat nurse from 1945 who mysteriously falls back in time to 1743 where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world and her life is threatened. When she is forced to marry Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan), a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, a passionate relationship is ignited that tears Claire’s heart between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.

During its run so far, Outlander has picked up Golden Globe and Emmy nominations and won BAFTA Scotland and Critics Choice awards.
