The Walking Dead resumes its seventh season in the US on Sunday and the UK on Monday.
Following a very sluggish first half, season 7 of the hit show hasn’t exactly been a hit with the fans. The violence of the opening episode, which saw Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) kill off Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) faced a backlash after being deemed too nasty.
Things slowed down after that episode as the gang were split up (again) and we barely got to spend any time with most of the characters. In the mid-season finale, the group mostly got back together and it looks like they’re going to take a stand against Negan.
The next episode of the season is Rock in the Road. Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the group are led to a new community where they are introduced to its inhabitants and ruler. A familiar face resurfaces.
