Sherlock season 4 gets release date and new trailer

Returning to BBC One on New Year’s Day.

The BBC have confirmed that Sherlock season 4 will return on New Year’s Day. They have also released a brand new trailer which you can watch below.

Benedict Cumberbatch returns as Sherlock Holmes, with Martin Freeman as John Watson, Mark Gatiss as Mycroft, Rupert Graves as Inspector Lestrade, Una Stubbs as Mrs Hudson, Amanda Abbington as Mary Watson and Louise Brealey as Molly Hooper.

Episode one of the new series is written by Mark Gatiss and titled The Six Thatchers. In the episode Sherlock waits to see where Moriarty will make his posthumous move.
