Country star Kenny Chesney will release his new album Some Town Somewhere on 28th October 2016 it has been announced.

The new album will arrive just before the annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards and features a duet with Pink called Setting the World on Fire. The album’s first single Noise is currently at Country radio and has impacted on the charts.

Kenny became friendly with Pink after running into her in California. Talking about the collaboration Kenny says, “P!NK’s voice holds so many feelings all at the same time: joy, desire, a bit of toughness, a little hurt. She’s an incredible singer – and has this great tone that shines but has a little wear to it, but doesn’t sound beat up. So I called her.”

“The thing about P!NK, beyond what a great singer she is, is what a generous spirit she has. To me, great singers are the ones who can get inside a song and capture the spark. When you hear P!NK on this song, you believe her – and to me, that’s everything the song required to come to life.”

Some Town Somewhere began its life last winter when Kenny started writing the record. It’s the follow-up to 2014’s The Big Revival, which spawned the monster hit American Kids.
