Kenny Chesney has release the music video for his new single Noise.
Written by Ross Copperman, Shane McAnally and Jon Nite, Noise is the lead single from Kenny’s upcoming album Some Town Somewhere. The video was directed by Shaun Silva and features footage of Kenny performing the track along with images of technology, celebrities and violence.
Talking to Rolling Stone Country about the track Kenny explained, “I was on the phone with Shane McAnally, in my car on the way to a meeting. We were talking about the relentless onslaught of sound, everyone wanting to be heard and this idea of everyone turning it up a little louder than the other person. We have so much thrown at us all at once that we don’t really hear anything. It’s all so loud that it just becomes white noise in your brain.”
Some Town Somewhere is due for release on 8th July 2016. It’s the follow-up to 2014’s The Big Revival, which hit the top spot on the Billboard Country Albums chart.
