Adam Lambert has released a snippet of his new single Welcome to the Show.
Recorded in New York City recently during a day off from his The Original High tour, Welcome to the Show features Laleh and will be released on iTunes on Thursday 17th March. Lambert will perform the track live for the first time the same day on American Idol.
Talking about the track Adam says, “I wanted to surprise my fans with a new, uplifting anthem for the spring. I asked Max Martin for help and he paired me up with Ali Payami who worked with me on ‘Ghost Town’ and Swedish star Laleh who is also featured on the track. I feel this song will give people strength to be exactly who they are.”
It’s not clear yet if the track will feature on a new version of The Original High or if it’s just a new single to coincide with his tour.
