We only have a few more category winners to announce for our Poll of the Year and today it’s all about Favourite Band of 2015.
One of the more closely fought categories, Favourite Band of 2015 was won by former X Factor champs Little Mix who picked up 34% of the vote. The band released their third album Get Weird in 2015, which looks to be their biggest yet and has spawned the hit singles Black Magic and Love Me Like You.
In joint second place was pop/rock band 5 Seconds of Summer and rising girl band Fifth Harmony, who were put together on The X Factor US. Each band picked up 22% of the vote from our readers.
Take That and Years & Years came joint third with 11% of the vote. Coldplay, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Maroon 5, One Direction and Zac Brown Band picked up no votes from our readers.
