Charlie Simpson has rejoined Busted and the trio have announced a UK tour for 2016.
It’s been 12 years since the trio last performed together and Charlie left the band to start rock band Fightstar. In the years since then the band has rubbished rumours of a reunion and Matt Willis and James Bourne joined forces with McFly for supergroup McBusted.
āA year ago James and I got together and just started hanging out ā¦ and it felt really different, somehow, to how it had ten years ago. And the idea crept into my head after all that time apart: what would Busted look like today?ā explains Charlie Simpson.
āFor me, thereās a huge sense of unfinished business… I always thought in my heart weād do Busted again, but that it was just a matter of when and how,” adds Matt Willis.
The tour will kick off on 11th May 2016 in London before touring around the country. The band will perform their hits including What I Go to School For, Crashed the Wedding, You Said No, Air Hostess and Year 300.
