The line-up for the 2016 C2C: Country To Country Festival was announced at Brooklyn Bowl inside The O2 in London last night.
Carrie Underwood was recently announced as one headliner for the line-up and it was confirmed that she will be joined by fellow headliners Eric Church and Miranda Lambert. For the first time ever the festival will be held in London, Glasgow and Dublin over 3 days in March on 11th, 12th and 13th.
Other acts announced for the country music festival are Dwight Yoakam, Little Big Town, Kacey Musgraves, Thomas Rhett, Sam Hunt and Chris Stapleton plus Maddie and Tae and Andrew Combs.
Last night Little Big Town kicked off the festival performing a live set at Brooklyn Bowl in London. The 2016 festival will mark the second time that the four-piece have performed at the event.
Sam Hunt, one of the biggest country music newcomers, performed at this year’s festival on the Satellite and Pop-Up Stages but for 2016 he’ll be taking to the mainstage to play songs from his smash hit album Montevallo.
The satellite stage will also be returning to The O2, London in 2016. Ashley Monroe is the first artist confirmed for the stage, with further acts to be revealed for the other two days in due course. Ashley will be performing on the mainstage in Glasgow and Dublin.
Also at The O2 in London, CMA Songwriters Series will take place on Thursday March 10th, nightly after-show parties featuring special guests, plus over 30 up and coming artists will perform on pop-up stages across the site. With over 40 performances a day on 5 free-to-watch pop up stages plus the Town Square showcasing whole host of food, drink and entertainment stands, C2C truly brings the ‘spirit of Nashville’ over to these shores.
