Mariah Carey launched her Las Vegas residency on Monday (27th April) with a grand entrance to her new home at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
Taking place on the day of the release of her new single Infinity, the event was the official launch of Mariah’s new Vegas show Mariah #1 To Infinity. Kicking off on Wednesday 6th May, the show will see the singer performing all 18 of her number one hits.
At the launch event Mariah was surrounded by 18 mobile billboards, with each representing a different one of her number one hits. The singer arrived in front of the iconic Caesars Palace porte cochere in a pink 1936 Auburn Boattail.
After being greeted by Caesar, Mariah was carried by Caesar’s centurions accompanied by her dancers. Stopping on the front steps of The Colosseum, Mariah was then welcomed by Caesars Entertainment CEO Gary Loveman and President of Global Touring with AEG Live, John Meglen.
