A brand new trailer has been released for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Director J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy launched the new trailer today at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, California. UK fans joined in the launch at a live local London event hosted by Star Wars star Warwick Davis at Empire Cinema in Leicester Square.
Globally there were local events taking place in 35 cinemas across 23 countries, including 6 IMAX locations.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the latest instalment in the iconic series and will see original stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford reprise their roles.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released in UK cinemas on 18th December 2015. You can watch the new trailer at the top of this article.
