Green Man festival reveals comedy list

Rob Newman and Sara Pascoe both confirmed.

Green Man festival is set for another amazing year in Wales from Thursday 20th to Sunday 23rd August. In its beautiful surroundings around mountains and peaceful wilderness, Green Man festival is surprisingly low brow.

Whilst the festival already announced headliners St Vincent and Hot Chip for its music bill but  there is more to Green Man than just music and it has been revealed that Rob Newman and Sara Pascoe will be in charge of fun times.

So far the following comedy acts have been confirmed:

Rob Newman, Sara Pascoe, Elis James, Rob Deering, Suzi Ruffell, Holly Walsh, Gavin Osborn, Elis James, Matt Rees, Mike Bubbins, Knightmare Live, Beat This, Dan Atkinson Dan Nightingale, Harriet Dyer, Sally-Ann Hayward, Stuart Laws, Tom Craine, Gareth Richards,
Mark Olver, Josh Howie, with many more to yet be announced.

The music line-up looks like this so far:

St Vincent, Super Furry Animals, and Hot Chip are joined by Goat, Calexico, Charles Bradley & his Extraordinaires, Father John Misty, Mew, The Staves, Sun Ra Arkestra, Courtney Barnett, The Fall, Shovels & Rope, The Wave Pictures, and Hookworms.

Slowdive, Television playing their seminal 1977 album ‘Marquee Moon’, Public Service Broadcasting, Jamie XX, Temples, The Leisure Society, Marika Hackman, Dan Deacon, White Fence, Natalie Prass, Sturgill Simpson, The Pictish Trail, Sweet Baboo, Emmy the Great, Peter Broderick, This Is The Kit, Kiran Leonard, The 2 Bears, Ultimate Painting, H.Hawkline, Zefur Wolves, Strand of Oaks, Hooton Tennis Club, The Drink, Meilyr Jones, and Alex Burey.

The line-up also includes Beyond The Wizards Sleeve, Sylvan Esso, Waxahatchee, Son Lux, Matthew E. White, Owen Pallett, Viet Cong, Steve Gunn, Richard Dawson, Alisdair Roberts, Songhoy Blues, Zun Zun Egui, Jane Weaver, Slug, BC Camplight, Ryley Walker, Trust Fund, Corey Bowen, Huw Stephens, Tom Ravenscroft, and Nothing Is.
