Tis the season to be jolly, or not if you’re Cain or numerous other Emmerdale residents! Here’s what’s in store for Christmas week:
Will Katie and Andy’s wedding go smoothly?
Twas the night before the wedding and all through the house not a creature was stirring except all the stags and hens that is! Things start badly for lonely Bernice who is found sobbing by Kerry and says she can’t do Katie’s hair and make-up for the wedding as she’s still in love with Andy. Then her day gets even worse when she is forced to cover bar duties for Andy’s stag do.
As the stag party arrive in fancy dress (Andy making a rather lovely Geri Halliwell), Robert looks like he might be finally waving the white flag and Andy reluctantly concedes to let him stay. However, it’s not long before tempers are flaring and the pair come to blows over their dead parent’s graves, leaving Andy warning Robert off coming to the wedding, but will he listen?
The morning of the wedding arrives with a few sore heads and Chas is thrown into a panic when Kerry nearly vomits on Katie’s wedding dress. Meanwhile, Diane is worried when she sees Robert at his dad’s grave about whether he will try to ruin the day for Katie and Andy. Victoria leaves him a message to warn him off interfering too and Aaron is heart broken for her and decides to confront Robert about all the trouble he’s causing.
A drunken Bernice tries her best to upstage the bride when she visits first Andy’s house and then makes a dramatic entrance at the church. Can her or Robert’s actions sabotage the big day? The day ends with Katie promising to someone that they will soon be very sorry for what they have done…
Moira wants Charity out
Jimmy can’t believe that Charity plans to hold Home James Haulage Christmas party at Moira’s farm and it takes a lot of persuading and several stipulations before Moira agrees to it. She soon regrets that decision when she comes home to an unruly bash and tells Charity she wants her out of the farm.
The next day, things escalate when Moira and Adam revel in getting back at Charity which leads to a fight between her and Moira that Cain walks in on and couldn’t look more disinterested. He tells Moira that his car has been stolen from Dover and that he doesn’t want to kick Charity out at xmas time. He is later livid when he realises Moira has phoned the police about his missing car.
Cain continues to be like a bear with a sore head and caves in to Moira’s demands that Charity must go. The latter is intrigued to over hear Cain’s conversation with PC Swirling about his missing car, but confused by his story and wonders what it is that’s rattling his cage. Just what it is that’s troubling Cain?
A surprise proposal
Megan is feeling sad on Christmas Day as she remembers Robbie and confides to Rishi that she’s finding her first Christmas without her family a tough affair. Jai is listening in and it gives him an idea.  He decides to propose to Megan, after all, she has stood by him over his recent bad decisions. Will she accept? She has concerns that he’s only proposing for Archie’s sake.
Meanwhile, Jai lies to Ali that Rachel has sent Archie a Christmas present only to leave her and Sam feeling that Rachel has abandoned them.
Later in the week, Jai spies the man who sold him Archie and knowing it’s his only link to Rachel, Megan wants to do something, but will Jai let her?

Adam and Aaron talk about a new business idea and a nosey Robert overhears and wants to invest.
Nicola finds Bernice a new home and is furious that Jimmy hasn’t spoken to Bernice about moving out.
Kirin suspects Priya and Rakesh are up to something when they fake a frosty atmosphere and ask him to look after Amba for a few hours.
Harriet’s confidence is given a boost when she manages to track down Emma Barton.
Lachlan offers Belle a legal high, promising it’ll help her forget about Gemma. Will she take it?
