X Factor evictee Lauren Platt appeared on ITV’s Good Morning Britain earlier today to talk about her exit from the show.
Talking about leaving the show a week before the final Lauren said, “I kinda had a feeling all week to be honest – they say when you’re on the show and it is your time to go you have a feeling all week – and that’s what everyone has had so far and it was my week this week.”
Speaking to presenters Ben Shephard, Susanna Reid and Richard Arnold, Lauren revealed that her mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini had been very hands-on throughout the competition. “She’s so hands-on – she had me around her house countless times this week preparing me for whatever way the show might have gone this weekend.”
Lauren revealed that she spent time at Cheryl’s house having takeaway and being pampered, “We had an Indian take away, we watched I’m a Celeb, had a massage…”
When asked who she was backing to win the show, Lauren admitted she’d “love to see Ben win”.
