The first picture of Katie Cassidy aka Laurel Lance dressed in the Black Canary costume has been released.
Fans have been waiting to see how long it will take for Laurel to pick up her sister Sara’s (Caity Lotz) mantle and it looks like they won’t have to wait very long at all. Tonight in the US the sixth episode of the season Guilty airs (fans in the UK will have to wait for just over 3 weeks to see the episode).
Laurel’s transformation into the Black Canary is true to the original comic books but fans of the show are divided about it happening on screen. Personally we love Katie and think she’s really transformed the character of Laurel so far this season.
