The popularity of One Direction continues as the boy band broke a world record after announcing their new album Four.
To celebrate the announcement the boys gave away new track Fireproof as a free download and it has become the most downloaded free track in history. In just 24 hours, the track was downloaded 1,089,278 times by fans.
Since Four went on pre-order it has hit number 1 on the iTunes Album Chart in 67 countries. The album is due for release on 17th November 2014.
Four is the follow-up to 2013’s massive-selling album Midnight Memories which was the biggest selling album of 2013 worldwide and hit number one in 39 countries.
