Damien Rice has unveiled the details of his new album My Favourite Faded Fantasy which will be released on 3rd November.

The album follows Damien’s previous records O and 9 which both garnered much critical-acclaim and sold by the bucketload. My Favourite Faded Fantasy is Rice’s first collection of material in 8 years and is produced by Rice along with Rick Rubin.

The album’s title track was given its world premiere on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show last night and is available instantly on iTunes for fans who pre-order the album.

The first single to be lifted from the album will be I Don’t Want To Change You which will debut later this month.

“Sometimes you have to step away from what you love in order to learn how to love it again,” says Rice regarding the long gap between albums.
