Another busy week ahead for the folk of Emmerdale! Read on to find out what you can expect to see from your favourite village this week:
Donna and Marlon kiss
As her cancer worsens, Donna is found collapsed in the kitchen by Paddy he calls Marlon who insists he go with Donna to the hospital, leaving Paddy concerned that Marlon may have feelings for her again. At the hospital, Donna and Marlon are devastated to learn that she may only have a matter of weeks left to live. The pair have an emotional discussion about whether Donna should have chemo and if she should tell Bob, Brenda and the rest of the village about her illness, that ends with them sharing a kiss.
Marlon feels guilty and thinks he should tell Laurel, but Donna is adamant he shouldn’t say a word as it might split them up and she wants April to have a solid family when she’s gone. He agrees but has to confide in someone, so tells his best mate Paddy, only fuelling his suspicions that Marlon has fallen for Donna again.
Meanwhile, Donna tells Ross she wants in on his latest job – she says for the money, but could it be to look out for Ross too? The pair lock horns at Ross’ cottage when he shows her the gun he has for the job and the pair tussle ending in a single gunshot but will anyone have been shot and if not how will they cover up the noise?
Cain and Charity up to no good?
Following his recent distance, it’s no wonder that Moira is suspicious when she learns that Vanessa has seen Cain with Charity. What she doesn’t realise is that Cain is trying extort money out of her to pay off Andy from his recent farm injury. He locks Charity in the garage until she agrees to give him £20,000 or he will tell Declan about her abortion secret leaving her no choice. When Declan sees his account take a hit, Charity covers by saying the money was for Debbie.
Moira has been worried about her relationship with Cain ever since he found out about her and James, so she turns sleuth to look at the garage booking-in diary and is even more worried to see no mention of Charity’s name. Then, when he comes home late, she decides that seduction is the best method of winning him back but is left annoyed when he rushes out leaving her all alone.
She later confides in Zak she thinks that her and Cain are over and he can’t keep it to himself, leading to Cain to confront her and Moira giving him an ultimatum – forgive me or pack your bags.
Moira dishes out more tough love to son Adam telling him he’s on his own. Dabbling in more drugs and still skint, Adam calls up his best mate Aaron in France to see if he wants a visitor. He also decides to accept Ross’ offer to get in on the safe cracking job – what has he got himself in to?
Sam is smitten with Tracey
Last week Tracey kindly helped Sam to apply for a credit card he didn’t want and this week she persuades him to let her have it and comes back from town flashing a wodge of notes. Knowing exactly what she’s doing, Robbie tells Tracey to stop taking advantage of Sam but she threatens to tell him that Robbie came on to her and kick him out of the cottage if he makes waves.
Robbie tries to keep quiet but when Sam introduces Tracey as his girlfriend and offers to pay her not to work, Robbie tries to warn Sam what she’s up to. She manages to get in their first though and Robbie is told to leave the house and gets a punch from Andy to boot!
Jai sets a Honey Trap for Rakesh
Leyla and Jai just can’t help themselves, as the pair continue to get flirty and enjoy their clandestine affair behind Megan’s back. When Priya and Rakesh invite him to their engagement party he refuses to go and instead formulates a plan asking Leyla to be part of a honey trap to get Rakesh to show his true colours and give Jai the evidence he needs to get Priya to call off the wedding.
Will Leyla go along with the plan or will it be Jai that is caught red handed?
Sean is left heartbroken and confused about his next move when Belle tells him she doesn’t want him and he should see through his plans to join the army.
David feels left out when he’s not invited to the engagement party.
Andy’s temper is starting to flare up and it’s poor Sarah who gets the brunt of it this week.
Katie helps Vanessa move in.
