Wuaki.tv adds hundreds of British movies

Wuaki.TV has announced the addition of hundreds of new British movie titles to its on-demand streaming catalogue today.

The new titles come following partnerships with Metrodome, Kaleidoscope Entertainment, The Movie Partnership and Content Media Corporation. Wuaki.tv has hand-picked these titles as the best examples of quality British cinema.

Each of the new titles features British casts and directors with the majority predominantly filmed and produced in Britain. The new movies will be divided into two broad categories; Classic and Modern.

In the Classic section new films include A Hard Dayā€™s Night, My Name Is Joe, The Ipcress File, The Man Who Sued God and Lawrence of Arabia. In the Modern section new films include The Borderlands, Conversations With Other Women, A Lonely Place To Die, The Kingā€™s Speech and Age of Heroes.

ā€œWe know movie fans are always interested in seeing the latest releases, but thereā€™s a whole lot more than just Hollywood blockbusters that they enjoy watching – and weā€™ve now got the best of British on Wuaki.tvā€ comments Simon Homent, UK Content Director at Wuaki.tv. ā€œWe have hundreds of new titles being added, everything from The Beatlesā€™ having A Hard Dayā€™s Night, to paranormal goings on in the West country in The Borderlands.

ā€œWe are working on more deals of this kind as no other streaming service is focusing on the best of British cinema in this way, and we believe it will really help set Wuaki.tv apart in the market.ā€
