Former Superman Brandon Routh is joining the cast of Arrow for the hit show’s third season.
TVLine reports that Routh will play the role of Ray Palmer aka The Atom when the show returns this autumn. It is rumoured that Ray, who is the new owner of Queen Consolidated, will be a love interest for Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) which would prove an interesting love triangle with Oliver (Stephen Amell).
Routh’s casting in the show follows the recent additions of Devon Aoki as Katana, Karl Yun as Katana’s husband Maseo Yamashiro and Peter Stormare as Count Vertigo.
