Andre Rieu’s 10th Anniversary 2014 Maastricht Concert will be screened in cinemas via satellite it has been announced.
The popular classical musician has joined forces with CinemaLive to screen the concert in 350 cinemas across the UK and Ireland on Saturday 19th July 2014. Outside of the UK and Ireland the event will be shown on over 1000 cinema screens in 35 countries including the USA, Canada, Mexico, Russia, The Netherlands, Germany, Iceland, Australia and New Zealand.
Charlotte Hawkins will host the event and will interview Andre immediately after his performance as an exclusive for cinema audiences.
André said: “My 10th Anniversary hometown concert is very dear to my heart and I wish everyone could be here to help us celebrate. However, if you can’t join us in Maastricht, I hope I can touch your heart by bringing this special evening to you, on the big screen in your local cinema.”
