Nina’s mother Kate (Maureen Mueller) decided that she wanted to expose her history with the President tonight.
Is that really a good idea? Probably not. Which is why she was promptly talked out of it with the promise of seeing her daughter. Duncan (Dylan McDermott) meanwhile successfully prevented an assassination attempt on the President and Sandrine (Sandrine Holt) proved her loyalty by helping to scupper the plot.
Did anyone else love the scene with Ellen (Toni Collette) coming face-to-face with Samantha (Hilarie Burton) tonight? We did and thought Ellen handled it pretty spectacularly. Also what was that kiss between Ellen and Duncan all about??
The Cost of Living is the next episode of Hostages and finds Brian (Tate Donovan) ready to tell all to the police about Duncan. Will he go through with it? Meanwhile Duncan New York Trip puts a snag in the plans to take out the President.
