Susanna Reid is to lead ITV’s new breakfast show Good Morning Britain.
The former BBC presenter will join Ben Shephard, Charlotte Hawkins and Sean Fletch to present Good Morning Britain which will air from 6am to 8.30am Monday to Friday.
Lorraine Kelly will helm her own show Lorraine from 8.30am to 9.25am five days a week. Daybreak host Aled Jones will now present a new weekend morning show called Weekend between 8.30am and 9.25am.

Our overriding aim is to continue to improve our breakfast programming for our viewers and we have been working for some time behind the scenes developing the next chapter of our offering.”

It has been rumoured since Susanna Reid competed in Strictly Come Dancing that she was in talks to leave the BBC and join rival ITV.
Good Morning Britain and Weekend are due to begin later this year.
