Cyndi Lauper to re-release She’s So Unusual

The iconic performer celebrates her debut album’s 30th anniversary.

Cyndi Lauper is releasing a new edition of her debut album She’s So Unusual to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

She’s So Unusual: A 30th Anniversary Celebration, released through Legacy Recordings, will be available from 31st March 2014. The release will be available as physical and digital editions with the iTUnes deluxe featuring the original album, rare demos, live concert recordings and remixes. There will also be a 1 LP vinyl edition.

“I’m always looking forward, trying to do something that’s new and different.” said Cyndi Lauper. “But every once in a while it’s good to look back and celebrate. I’ve always been proud of this album, with the statement we made and, most importantly, what it has meant to my fans, I want to thank them for all the years of support”.
