The X Factor 2013 finalist Nicholas McDonald has signed a deal with RCA Records.
The singer will release debut album Arms of an Angel on 10th March. Arms of an Angel is a collection of contemporary covers including Adele’s Someone Like You, Bruno Mars’ Just The Way You Are and Westlife’s Flying Without Wings. The album will also contain three original tracks that Nicholas has been working on since the show.
Talking about the deal Nicholas said, ‘When I found out that I was signing to RCA I was over the moon as I knew that they worked with some of the biggest artists in the world. It feels absolutely amazing to be recording my own album and I can’t wait to get it out there and give something back to all the fans who have supported me from the very start.’
The release means that Nicholas will get a head start on winner Sam Bailey whose debut album is expected later in the year.
