Former model Annabel Giles has become the first contestant to be voted out of this year’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
After spending ten days in the Australian jungle, Annabel lost out in the public vote.
Annabel didn’t seem to mind being voted out, saying: “That’s ok, I don’t mind.”
Mindful of Alfonso, who only three weeks ago welcomed his daughter into the world, she said: “Alfonso, I’m sorry you don’t get to see your baby,”
Talking to Ant and Dec in her eviction interview, she said: “I feel like the most unpopular girl in the school. Maybe I am? I’m the first out, aren’t I? Someone has to do it and it might as well be me. There is lots of things you don’t see in just an hour’s show. It’s really quite tough. I’ve always thought ‘oh those bloody celebrities moaning away’, but it is actually quite hard.”
“I don’t know where this fear of bugs has come from,” she said. “I didn’t know I had it because I haven’t been in this kind of situation before.”
She added that she would like to see Joey Essex or Kian Egan crowned King of the Jungle.
