Bear Grylls to host Songs of Praise

Bear Grylls will present the one-off Songs of Praise special.

Popular adventurer Bear Grylls is to host a special edition of BBC On’es Songs of Praise this coming Sunday.

Grylls is a committed Christian, and in this special edition he will be relating his own experiences to that of generations of Christians who over the centuries have travelled the Pilgrim’s Route towards Bardsey, just off the Llyn Peninsula, to find their own personal sanctuary.

BBC One’s flagship Christian music programme will be celebrating the first anniversary of the creation of the stunning 870 miles Welsh Coastal Path.

British cellist Julian Lloyd Webber, composer Karl Jenkins, singer Aled Myrddin, tenor Rhys Meirion and Welsh singer Elin Fflur will all join Bear Grylls as guests on the programme.
