The first teaser for the upcoming ‘Gladiators’ reboot has been released by the BBC.
The series, which is due to arrive in 2024, is hosted by Bradley and Barney Walsh and it features an all-new line-up of Gladiators. The Gladiators are Athena (Karenjeet Kaur Bains), Comet (Ella-Mae Rayner), Diamond (Livi Sheldon), Dynamite (Emily Steel), Electro (Jade Packer), Fire (Montell Douglas), Fury (Jodie Ounsley), Sabre (Sheli McCoy), Apollo (Alex Gray), Bionic (Matty Campbell), Giant (Jamie Christian Johal), Legend (Matt Morris), Nitro (Harry Aikines-Aryeetey), Phantom (Toby Alibi), Steel (Zack George) and Viper (Quang Luong).
Originally launched in the UK in 1992, ‘Gladiators’ ran until 2000 and was resurrected by Sky from 2008-9. Now at its new home of BBC One and iPlayer, ‘Gladiators’ looks set to be a huge success once again as more athletic members of the public try to take on the mighty Gladiators.
In the first teaser you can get a glimpse of some of the games and see the Gladiators in action. To our eyes, it looks a lot more like the original series than the Sky reboot did so we’re excited!
The official air date for ‘Gladiators’ hasn’t been confirmed yet but as soon as we have the details we’ll let you know!
