There were reports today that Lord Sugar would not be returning for another series.

Alan Sugar

Lord Sugar has vehemently denied that he’s leaving The Apprentice after this series ends.

The business man, and The Apprentice’s main man, defended his role on the BBC One show, and said his Apprentice advisor, Nick Hewer, was miquoted in a recent interview with the Radio Times.

According to Digital Spy, Lord Sugar said: “Media reports of me quitting The Apprentice are rubbish. Nick Hewer misquoted. If BBC decide to do more after this year, I will do it for them.”

This year’s Apprentice semi-final will air tomorrow night at 9pm on BBC One.
