TV channel Lifetime to launch in the autumn

A brand new TV channel will be launching in the UK this autumn.

Lifetime, which is the number one female targeted cable network in the US, will have exclusive UK premieres of The Proposers, Liz & Dick (Linsday Lohan) and Steel Magnolias (Queen Latifah).

The new channel will also premiere drama series The Client List (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Damages season 5, and intimate chat show The Conversation, featuring guest stars such as Lady GaGa, Gwyneth Paltrow and Eva Longoria.

The Proposers follows the two company founders as they help hopeless romantics get that all important yes from their loved ones by planning extravagant and unique proposals. Since launching the successful business last year, the pair has helped organise over 40 bespoke wedding proposals including; a flash mob choir on the London Eye, a choreographed ice dance and a Bollywood dance routine in Tower Bridge.

Each episode will follow the girls from initial consultations with love struck clients, seeing how they familiarise themselves with the unsuspecting other half and then witnessing them deliver two differing proposal plans, one from each planner. Once the preferred idea is chosen, viewers will see how the girls use their experience and knowledge to turn it into a fairytale reality…and of course witness the big romantic gesture in all its glory!

The series is currently in production and in search of lovers who want to share their experiences on television. Email [email protected] to apply.
