Kamaliya – I’m Alive single review

Kamaliya is another dance import from Eastern Europe, this Ukrainian beauty is releasing her debut single I’m Alive with dance label, All Around The World, the home of artists such as N-Dubz, Tulisa and Basshunter to name just a few. We listened to the single and here are our thoughts.

Following a familiar sampled sound of opera music you are quickly engulfed in a dance beat. Kamaliya’s vocals work with the track and give it its personality. Like many other dance tracks I’m Alive follows a very simple pattern and for what it is, well it is pretty good. The chorus is fairly easy to remember and sounds like dancefloor favourite already.

There are also a few remixes on this release, which are worth a spin. Gregori Radio is hard and ballsy whilst Stadium Radio’s is packed with electro vibes and a big drop.

I’m Alive sounds like a summer favourite so there isn’t much we can say about Kamaliya’s debut other than it is pretty standard and catchy. Also if you haven’t yet check out the video as it is something quite ‘special’ and is especially going to be a favourite amongst the boys.
