The audition dates for this year’s Open Mic UK have been announced.
Last year’s competition saw over 9,000 entrants and this year’s is set to be the biggest yet. Auditions kick off in August as Open Mic UK searches to find the best singers, singer-songwriters, rappers and vocalists.
Thos who make it through the auditions will go on to perform in live showcases in front of a professional judging panel and packed audience. The Grand Final will take place within The O2 in London.
There’s over £50,000 worth of prizes up for grabs this year including recording studio time and music development classes. The main prize is £5,000 cash to the overall winner.
