In the early hours of the morning John Cena won the WWE Championship from The Rock at New York’s Met Life Stadium.
The king of wrestling events proved to be a slightly dour affair when matched against the events of Wrestlemania 28 in Miami last year. However that didn’t stop the WWE from trying to deliver some memorable moments.
The Undertaker made it 21-0 in an amazing winning streak, this time beating CM Punk. Triple H won a hard fought contest against Brock Lesnar and Alberto Del Rio retained the gold against Jack Swagger.
The WWE Hall Of Fame class of 2013 inductees included Booker T, Trish Stratus and Mick Foley.
