Daniela Brooker has been playing music since she was a child and her obsession with singing, writing and performing even took its toll on her parents as the artist wouldn’t focus on anything else. Her new single Heartbreaker is taken from her new album P.S.. We heard it and here are our thoughts.
Heartbreaker kicks off with an old-school vibe and the kind of guitar riff you expect to hear on a Santana track. There is a nice melody to Heartbreaker and Brooker certainly can sing but the song sounds a little dated with gospel-like harmonies and a nineties sound that isn’t in fashion right now. Whilst listening to the pop song we hope that it picks up and starts becoming a little more exciting but sadly it remains pretty bland.
Daniela Brooker’s new single, Heartbreaker isn’t a track we wouldn’t personally listen to again. Brooker is a good singer but this track really lacks a bit of originality.
