The Old Queen’s Head have announced a new event, Best In Class, a week-long series of gigs taking place in February. The gigs will introduce some of the best emerging artists of the moment, with Eliza and the Bear, Gaggle, Childhood, Animal Kingdom, NZCA/Lines and more.
Taking place from the 25th Februart till 21st March, Best In Class is kicking off with indie band Eliza and The Bear. The band blends powerful vocal melodies with anthemic folk pop and has worked with producer Peter Miles (Dry The River, The King Blues to name a few). Also playing on the 25th is Essex band Wild Combination.
On the 26th the energetic and eccentric Gaggle are playing who are famous for their creative live shows. The band transforemed Elektrowerkz into a feminist terrist camp last time they were there. And joining them will be Sylver Tongue, an 80s inspired synth act featuring Ash’s Charlotte Hatherley.
The Old Queen’s Head has built a great reputation as one of the best live music venue/club hybrids in the capital and Best In Class is only going to solidify this reputation.
