Jay-Z and Beyonce have released a fake movie trailer to promote their upcoming On The Run joint tour.
Directed by Melina Matsoukas, the nearly 4-minute film features a star-studded cast including Sean Penn, Don Cheadle, Guillermo Diaz, Emmy Rossum, Jake Gyllenhaal, Blake Lively, Rashida Jones, Kidada Jones and of course Jay-Z and Beyonce.
The action-packed ‘trailer’ is reminiscent of the couple’s ’03 Bonnie & Clyde music video and features violence, money and a fair bit of raunch. The whole thing is soundtracked by tracks from both artists.
At present the On The Run Tour is only visiting North America but don’t surprised if it makes its way over to the UK and Europe over the next year or so.
