Nick Smith is set to release debut album ‘New South' on Friday 7th March 2025 and we've got an exclusive track premiere for you to enjoy.
Ahead of the one-to-watch Country star's album arriving, we've got our hands on a studio performance of ‘Seasons', one of the standouts on the record. Showcasing Smith's songwriting as well as his radio-ready sound, the personal song is the kind of earworm you won't be able to get out of your head. Take a listen:
Talking about the track, Smith shares exclusively: “‘Seasons' is a relaxed, cozy feeling song about a man growing to understand what it is to love and be loved. We mixed organic instrumentation and unique rhythmic sections together, then tailored the proper lyrics into a New South-soundingproduction. I wrote this song about my personal life with my wife and how, through her love and over many seasons, I was able to grow to find true, irresistible love. I wrote this song for those who are hopeful to find true love and for those who are currently in a happy relationship able to relate with such a similar experience.”
‘New South' is a bold 17-track debut from Smith, who is sure to be an artist to keep an eye on in 2025. Taking his musical inspiration from a host of genres, the songs are deeply rooted in Country and the album features the streaming hits “FM Waves” and “Tellin' You Now”, which have already amassed more than 2 million streams.
With plenty of music and visuals ready to drop this year, Smith is looking set to be one of the breakout stars of 2025.
