Grand Ole Opry reveals the NextStage class of Country music’s rising stars for 2026

The Grand Ole Opry has officially introduced its Opry NextStage Class of 2026, shining a spotlight on nine emerging artists poised to help shape country music’s future. Presented by Tecovas, this year’s class includes Willow Avalon, Graham Barham, Tyler Braden, Carter Faith, Alexandra Kay, Vincent Mason, Emily Ann Roberts, Hudson Westbrook and Jake Worthington. The announcement took place during a special evening at the Grand Ole Opry that also celebrated the 50th Opry anniversary of country legend Ronnie Milsap, blending the genre’s rich legacy with its next generation of performers.

The Opry NextStage initiative continues to serve as one of country music’s most influential artist development platforms, offering rising acts increased visibility through Opry performances, dedicated showcases and promotional support throughout the year. Members of the Class of 2026 will benefit from ongoing backing by Opry Entertainment Group, helping introduce their music to wider audiences while strengthening their connection to one of country music’s most historic stages.

Since launching in 2019, the program has played a significant role in accelerating the careers of emerging artists, collectively contributing to dozens of No. 1 country radio hits and major industry breakthroughs. Previous NextStage alumni include stars such as Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, Parker McCollum, Riley Green, Hailey Whitters, Nate Smith, Ella Langley and Tenille Townes, many of whom later earned ACM New Artist honours. Wilson notably became the first Opry NextStage alum to go on to achieve official Grand Ole Opry membership.

With a diverse mix of traditional roots, modern country storytelling and genre-blending influences, the Opry NextStage Class of 2026 represents a broad cross-section of where country music is headed next, reinforcing the Grand Ole Opry’s ongoing commitment to nurturing the artists who will define the genre’s future.
