Sarah Greene will play the role of Hecate, the daughter of returning character Evelyn Poole (Helen McCrory) and Jonny Beauchamp will play a young man with a singular past.<\/p>\n<p>For the second season Helen McCrory and Simon Russell Beale, who plays Egyptologist Ferdinand Lyle, have been upped to series regulars.<\/p>\n<p>Also returning for the second season will be season one regulars Josh Hartnett, Timothy Dalton, Eva Green, Reeve Carney, Rory Kinnear, Billie Piper, Danny Sapani and Harry Treadaway.<\/p>\n<p>Production on the second season of Penny Dreadful will begin in Dublin this month.
