Glee will come to an end after its sixth season it has been confirmed.

TVLine reports that Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy announced the news at a Paley Center event honoring FX Networks. Murphy admitted that the death of Cory Monteith has meant he has had to devise a different ending for the show.

Originally Glee was going to resolve the Rachel (Lea Michele) and Finn relationship but without Monteith that is no longer an option. He revealed:

“I have a good idea,” Murphy added. “I’m going to tell the studio and the network [in a week] how after Cory’s unfortunate passing we can end the show that I think is very satisfactory. And kind of in his honor, which I love.”

Are you sad to hear that Glee will be coming to an end? We’re gutted as we think the show has been on fantastic form for the past season and season five so far has been fantastic.
