Evangelia C is Lola\u2019s Bad a talented young lady with a foot in the future and one in the past. With influences drawn from the Greek Archipelago and the British Isles Lola\u2019s Bad first EP is set to be a reflection of these influences. We listened to Miss Abyss 2046 and here are our thoughts.<\/p>\n
Frist up is the futuristic sounding Corona Wide. The track is interesting with its exotic influences and strong female vocals. The song is good and has a catch chorus but drags on a little too long.<\/p>\n
Cyber Censation is just as heavy on the synths as was Corona Wide. Again Lola\u2019s Bad vocals are tampered with to give it that spaced out effect. There is something rather haunting about this track although that could just be the hauling vocals.<\/p>\n
Next up is Kissing The Night, which kicks off with a threatening beat and feels rather confusing all the way through. This track is all over the place and simply doesn\u2019t work for us.<\/p>\n
We skip to Pray and are greeted with a rather interesting and curious creation. Pray is quite good as it starts and feels less crowded this doesn\u2019t last as more and more layers of sound are added to the track until it feels almost claustrophobic to listen to it.<\/p>\n
Last on the EP is Dream Brother another electro infused track.<\/p>\n
Lola\u2019s Bad\u2019s debut EP is quite heavy on sound effects and synths. There are interesting parts to this EP but they are always drowned in too much production, which is a shame. We are quite curious in hearing Lola\u2019s Bad\u2019s next release though.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
