Jennifer Lawrence sizzles in the sexy new trailer for Red Sparrow.<\/p>\n
Red Sparrow is directed by Francis Lawrence with a screenplay by\u00a0Justin Haythe, based on the novel by Jason Matthews, and is produced by\u00a0Peter Chernin and Steve Zaillan.<\/p>\n
Jennifer Lawrence, Joel Edgerton, Matthias Schoenaerts, Jeremy Irons, Mary-Louise Parker and Charlotte Rampling star in the action fest.<\/p>\n
Dominika Egorova (Jennifer Lawrence) is drafted against her will to become a \u201csparrow,\u201d a trained seductress in the Russian security service. Dominika learns to use her body as a weapon, but struggles to maintain her sense of self during the dehumanizing training process.<\/p>\n
Finding her power in an unfair system, she emerges as one of the program\u2019s strongest assets. Her first target is Nate Nash (Joel Edgerton), a CIA officer who handles the agency\u2019s most sensitive infiltration of Russian intelligence.<\/p>\n
The two young operatives fall into a spiral of attraction and deception, which threatens their careers, allegiances and the security of both countries.<\/p>\n
Based on the book by former CIA officer Jason Matthews, Red Sparrow reunites Jennifer Lawrence with her Hunger Games director, Francis Lawrence with Joel Edgerton, Matthias Schoenaerts, Charlotte Rampling, Jeremy Irons, and Mary Louise Parker rounding out the cast.<\/p>\n
Red Sparrow is released in UK cinemas on 2nd March 2018.<\/p>\n
