Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Cam has revealed plans for a headline run through the US, UK, and Europe with The Slow Down Tour. The US leg begins October 20 at The Gramercy Theatre in New York and will visit major cities including Chicago, Nashville, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, San Francisco, and more before wrapping on November 17 at Los Angeles’ El Rey Theatre. Her stop at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium will be a milestone moment, marking her third time headlining the historic venue where she first appeared as an opener for Harry Styles.
Pre-sales for the tour start August 20, with general on-sale available August 22 at 10 a.m. local time. Limited VIP packages are also being offered, and fans can find ticket details at Camcountry.com.
Sharing her excitement about the upcoming dates, Cam said, “Alright sweet friends, I’m traveling through the US and Europe to bring you this beautiful and raw album along with the hits to dance and cry to. And as always there will be some belly laughs in between because in my family, we heal by making a punchline out of everything.”
The tour follows the July release of Cam’s latest album ‘All Things Light' which has been praised by outlets including Billboard, NPR, and People. Grammy.com highlighted its emotional resonance, noting how Cam’s voice radiates hope throughout, while People celebrated her ability to bridge traditional and experimental country. The album features standout singles like ‘Alchemy,' ‘Everblue,' ‘Slow Down' and ‘Turns Out That I Am God,' accompanied by striking videos directed by James Mackel. Cam celebrated the release with a TODAY Show performance and an intimate event at the GRAMMY Museum earlier this month.
‘All Things Light' was crafted during a deeply personal chapter for Cam, who turned to songwriting during the early days of motherhood and the pandemic as a way to find light in dark times. The record, which follows her work as a key songwriter on Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter,' showcases some of her most visionary and introspective songwriting to date. Marking the 10th anniversary of her major-label debut Untamed and its 4x platinum hit ‘Burning House,' Cam continues to push creative boundaries while remaining one of country music’s most compelling voices.
