Hudson Westbrook has released break-up ballad ‘Weatherman', which is available to stream now.
Written by Westbrook, Lukas Scott, Neil Medley, Reid Haughton, and Beau Bailey, ‘Weatherman' is a clever twist on a typical breakup ballad, blaming a local forecaster for a love temp-check gone wrong. Westbrook’s talent as a songwriter shines through on the winking and poignant new tune; raw and playful in lyric, polished in delivery.
The video for ‘Weatherman' gives an intimate portrait of a downtrodden Westbrook, nursing his wounds alone in an empty house amid a dark, blustery day. You can watch it above.
“The second we wrote this song I wanted to put it out,” Westbrook shares. “It’s one of my favorites I’ve ever written, so to see people reacting to it already has been really validating and exciting. I can’t wait to get out and play it for y’all.”
Adding to his growing list of achievements, Westbrook debuted across country radio yesterday with the #2 most added single of the week ‘House Again', impacting airwaves nationwide with 50 first-week stations.
Westbrook will be spending much of 2025 on the road. He recently announced his 2025 Summer Tour across the US through August and he'll open for Parker McCollum later in the year.
