Metal Core / Country duo Lakeview announce debut album release

Genre-blending country-rock duo Lakeview known for keeping audiences on their toes, made a thrilling announcement during their recent appearance on SiriusXM’s The Highway. The duo, composed of Jesse Denaro and Luke Healy, surprised fans by revealing their self-titled debut album, set to release on September 13 in partnership with Gravel Road. Alongside this exciting news, they debuted their new track ‘What I Know Now' which will be available for streaming this Friday, August 9.

“This album has been a long time in the making. It represents who we are as artists and as individuals; this project IS Lakeview and we put everything we had into making this,” shared Denaro. Healy added, “We couldn’t have done this without the support of the Home Team. Thank you for supporting us for so many years, on the road. Whether you bought a ticket to a show, streamed our singles, or picked up a shirt at the merch table, your support has meant the world to us.”

The announcement comes after the massive streaming success of their singles ‘Home Team' and ‘Loser,' which have garnered over 30 million streams. LAKEVIEW has built a highly engaged and loyal fanbase through extensive touring, and this debut album is a testament to their journey and growth. The 18-track project, years in the making, showcases the diverse musical influences of Denaro and Healy, who first connected over their blue-collar jobs and metal-core roots. Both members contributed to the writing of every track on the album.

The latest release from the forthcoming album, ‘What I Know Now,' is a stadium-ready anthem featuring heavy drums, lively guitar, and classic country heartbreak lyrics. In addition to previously released fan-favourite singles, standout tracks on the album include the betrayal ballad ‘Here Lies a Girl' and the reflective ‘Before I Die.' The album offers a full spectrum of the duo's capabilities, from party anthems like ‘Bad Day to Be a Beer' to head-banging tracks such as ‘W.H.Y' and the lyrically vulnerable ‘I Don’t Call' with stripped-down production. The project will be available for pre-order on Friday, August 9.

LAKEVIEW is set for a busy 2024, making significant strides in both country and rock music. Their previous single, ‘Money Where Your Mouth Is (Featuring Gideon),' has amassed millions of streams and reached the Top 5 on SiriusXM’s Octane. Their unique blend of country and rock caught the attention of Breaking Benjamin’s Ben Burley, who is taking the band on tour nationwide. This collaboration highlights their ability to unite traditional and non-traditional country fans alike. For a full list of tour dates and to purchase tickets, visit LAKEVIEW’s website.

Denaro reflects on their journey and connection with fans, stating, “Our fans, much like us, are the unsung heroes of their families and friends, working tirelessly and making sacrifices. Many people in a Lakeview crowd wear Wranglers, boots, and cowboy hats, but also Metallica shirts, black skinny jeans, and have face tattoos. By the night's end, everyone realizes they’re all the same at the core.”
